Timeline Reference: April – July 14, 2025
This batch took longer than any before it—but it’s finally done, and it’s more modular than ever.
🔧 The Road to This Batch Was Anything but Easy – July 14
After weeks of waiting on external fabrication and powder coating, the new batch of Heavy Duty brackets was confirmed ready for pickup. These are full 11-gauge mild steel, TIG welded, and powder coated in Cardinal BK-109 wrinkle black.

In May, while preparing the proper Heavy Duty batch, I made another misstep—I scrapped my in-house fabricated vertical supports and instead asked my manufacturer to produce them entirely (laser cut, bend, and press-fit the PEM nuts). While this decision streamlined the assembly process, it added several days of lead time that I hadn’t anticipated.
⏱️ The Waiting Game
The timeline went long:
- June 2: I dropped off the raw brackets.
- June 23: I finally received word fabrication was starting.
- July 2: I followed up again to request an ETA.
- July 14: I got confirmation — they’re done.
Between limited business hours, multiple observed holidays, and added services, this batch took over six weeks.
📦 Fulfillment Plan – July 21

I’ll be performing final QA checks, logging each bracket in inventory, and preparing shipments through the weekend.
All remaining Heavy Duty bracket orders are scheduled to ship Monday, July 21.
Tracking info will be emailed when your box is labeled.
ℹ️ Light Duty Holders
If you received a Light Duty bracket from the April/May fulfillment window and want to upgrade, email me directly. I’ve reserved a limited number of HD brackets for upgrades and swaps.
📝 Thank You
This one tested every part of the process — ordering, fabrication, QC, and patience. Thank you for riding it out.
We’re back on track — and the bracket is more modular than before and back in 11-gauge for a sturdy install.
